Our Professional Staff:

Dr. E. J. Schrenzel:  The founder of Hybla Valley Veterinary Hospital attended school at Texas A & M University, Middlesex Veterinary School, and received his D.V.M. from Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort in France.  He continues today as the stabilizing force of the hospital.

  Dr. Deborah Schrenzel:  Dr. Deborah Schrenzel has been practicing in the hospital "officially" since 1986 (as a veterinarian - longer as an assistant to her father, Dr. E. J. Schrenzel).  After graduating with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Virginia (Charlottesville) in 1981, she attended Tufts Veterinary School in Boston, Massachusetts and received her D.V.M. degree.  She is licensed in several states and regularly attends continuing education programs to maintain her understanding of current issues in veterinary medicine.

Our Office Staff:

Diane Schrenzel:  Ms. Schrenzel works every Saturday and has done so since 1982.  When not working at the Hospital, she is a teaching assistant at the Northern Virginia Community College for Veterinary Technicians (Loudon, Virginia) and is a certified Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Jackie Paullin:  Jackie works the morning shift at the reception desk. She joined the staff in September 2000. She is very helpful. She has a great Lab "Jack" and has subsequently adopted "Spike" and is always adding to her animal family. Furthermore, she greatly helps out by providing foster care for many dogs to be adopted.

Anne Conley:  A longtime familiar face at the front desk, Anne cares greatly for animals and works to make your experience a pleasant one.

Hospital Kennel Staff:

Wendy Kilpatrick:  Not only is Wendy a longtime client but now a wonderful assistant. She does so much charity work with cats and has quite a rapport with the cats!

Becky Burnley:  Becky is a wonderful caretaker of the animals. She is conscientious and a  hard worker.
Farrah Poe : Farrah has taken some animal care classes at Edison High School and is a super employee! She is currently enrolled at NOVA (Northern Virginia Community College for Veterinary Technicians) Vet Technician program!!
Michaela Streitfield: She is an animal lover and a great asset to our staff.
